Charlton Park has been a possession of the Earls of Suffolk since the last years of the 16th Century. The Estate extends to 4500 acres; 3400 acres are farmed in hand with the further 525 acres under the management of three tenants and in addition there is 300 acres of woodland.
The Estate provides opportunities for letting property, both commercial office space and a number of residential properties located in the Park and around the surrounding villages. They range from large farmhouses to charming Gatehouses.
Whilst retaining the privacy of the family home and grounds, the park is available to hire to host corporate social and charity events It is also a popular film location. Please visit the relevant pages to find out more.
Every year applications are invited to join the exclusive small Mayfly fishing syndicate on a magical small stream fishing for wild brown trout. The Estate has a commercial pheasant (partridge) shoot and clay shooting days can also be arranged whether private or corporate.
